Plus récemment, c’est avec le concours d’un informaticien, Christian Nguyen, qu’il a converti ce procédé au numérique.

Michel Charles est un photographe français, d’origine marseillaise. Il vit dans le Gard où il poursuit ses recherches.

In 1990, with the indispensable help of engineer Laurent Bourdelain, Michel Charles developed a silver halide process capable of translating a moving subject into a photograph. In more recent years he has digitised the method with the assistance of computer scientist Christian Nguyen.
